A Christmas Carol is a Victorian morality tale of an old and bitter miser, Ebenezer Scrooge, who undergoes a profound experience of redemption over the course of one night. Mr. Scrooge is a financier/money-changer who has devoted his life to the accumulation of wealth. He holds anything other than money in contempt, including friendship, love and the Christmas season.

读后感

The book felt a little more realistic to the film adaptations, yet managed to keep a real sense of magic, and therefore I do feel that this was more effective and a little more special. in a word, there's no excuse not to pick up this heartwarming Christm...

看的是原版书，单词不难，都能看明白，剧情并不复杂，而且有些神化，看到幽灵带他回到过去时，心里很是震颤，感受到内心最脆弱的部分，整部小说透露出人生哲理。看完后，才知道原来的大名鼎鼎的狄更斯的作品，果然是精品。  

狄更斯这老儿，很小就看过他的书，不过看的都是中文版。 后来看了很多他的名著，以及旁人的名著，对他的印象也就淡了。 这回看了这本，发现狄更斯并不是 我想像中的那么差。 他的文笔严肃大气之外（这是我的想当然的看法），其实跳跃性、灵活性也是很大的。 从这本被金庸...
