The latest addition to Ian Allan Publishing's highly successful series of railway atlases is a third edition of the pocket guide to the railways of Britain that was first published, to much critical acclaim, in the summer of 1995 with a second edition appearing three years later. The book provides line drawings of all the railways in the British Isles, including Ireland, with detailed enlargements for the major urban centres.
