读后感

希罗多德的《历史》，较早曾有商务印书馆出版的王以铸译本，由于翻译年代比较早，其中的一些译名与我们当下通行的译名有异，难免使人读来有困惑感，加上缺乏相应历史背景的介绍和注解，故而在早年读过一遍，不得要领后，也提不起重新翻阅的兴趣。后来听说徐松岩在既有成果的基...  

由于年代的问题，本书中许多翻译并不与现行大部分翻译统一。 举例来说，本书中提到西拉库赛，现行翻译一般是叙拉古；神庙戴尔波伊，现行翻译一般是特尔斐；波斯国王克谢尔克谢斯，现行翻译一般是薛西斯等等。 需要读者多加注意。  

在《历史》一书开头，希罗多德便开门见山地发表了那段传诸后世，并为后人不断释读的名言。 从这段话语中可以看出，希罗多德希望写就的这部“历史”记载的双方分别为希腊人和异邦人（或译作“蛮族”，主要指的是波斯人），所述内容是双方的丰功伟绩以及纷争原因。因此，...
