Sentimental Education

居斯塔夫·福楼拜(1821-1880)，19世纪法国现实主义文学大师。生于法国西北部卢昂城的一个医生世家。童年在父亲的医院里度过，因此他以后的文学创作明显带有医生的细致观察与剖析的痕迹。1841年进入巴黎大学法学院学习。1843年他在法科考试中失败，次年又突发神经官能症，从此中断学业，常年住在父母的克鲁瓦塞庄园，期间他开始尝试创作长篇小说。1846年福楼拜的父亲和妹妹卡罗莲去世，福楼拜将妹妹的女儿接到自己身边，尽心照顾母亲和外甥女，终身未娶。1880年5月8日，他因患脑溢血去世。福楼拜是继巴尔扎克、斯汤达之后19世纪法固批判现实主义文学的第三位杰出代表。他在艺术上另辟蹊径，形成了自己独特的艺术风格，创造了所谓"纯客观"的艺术，丰富和发展了19世纪的现实主义。主要作品有长篇小说《包法利夫人》、《情感教育》，短篇小说《淳朴的心》，剧本《女性》等。

三个星期断断续续看完，因为对当时的法国社会背景不了解，所以也很难理解福楼拜写的很多政治性的内容的意义。用现代的话来说，事情其实很简单，弗雷德利克是一个爱情至上主义者，整个一生都活在阿尔努太太的阴影下并且乐此不疲。他有一些资产，后来得到不少遗产因此不需要...  

书名是《情感教育》，我也一直以为它写的是情感的教育，读完之后才明白，原来它讲的是情感和教育。 粗粗的第一遍看完，好像爱情的篇幅比政治的要少一些，至少不是对半的吧。 读到4/5的时候，我有一种不真实感，福赖代芮克未免太渣了些，先前是流转于阿尔鲁夫人、罗克小姐和罗莎...

第三部分第七章，构成了《情感教育》的结尾，它专注于弗雷德里克和戴楼芮耶的最终和解，记录了使他们陷入沮丧和病态的放弃状态的事件过程中的不满。他们为各自的失败感到困惑和挫折：弗雷德里克的爱情和戴楼芮耶的政治。他们都没有对自己的不幸的有可感的认识。弗雷德里克大声...
