门德尔松从自己的名字里解出一条古希腊语法结构，论此境他方，现下彼时，主语宾语，在凝视与被凝视、欲望与被渴求间探索不定形态的身份认同。读前几章心下有些许矛盾，觉得似乎他写别人的故事更有意思，兴许因为人在直面自己时极难做到全然真诚，尤其当你知晓此番直面必将置于他者目光之下，往往会生出一股「合理化」经历行为的冲动。但这没有必要。不过往下读渐入佳境，最后两章塑造金身（家族神话）再打破、为身份认同探索写下注解，作家拿手好戏是也，蛮好看！

When all the li(n)es converged… heartbreaking, telling & daunting. ‘bout gay life, family history, classics & desirability. In need of a bit patience before everything (ironically) makes sense in the end (or does it). Sometimes stories are myths or merely lies. True. But some parts I don’t quite agree w/.
