差评，大家也别浪费时间买了。。很多主观的东西在里面，个人侧重喜好偏袒明显，光看书后的附录，类似神马XX大金属专辑。XX大金属anthem,就可以亮瞎狗眼。。

非常好的教科书。以Black Sabbath为开端再以他们的回归为结束。记录重金属的三十年历史，浪潮从NWOBHM到new fusions，风格从thrash到nu-metal，也没错过金属乐对于PMRC、MTV、Napster等音乐工业产物的重要影响。很吸引人的还有fanzines, tape trading,church burnings种种亚文化；以及Lars何时破处，Newsted如何被当成小媳妇，euronymous与varg不了情等八卦。Christe擅长引经据典，辞藻相当出彩，形容得极有画面感。看到了日本和韩国小小地扮演了一些角色，还有穆斯林的金属文化，随后忍不住要感叹中国在那时候根本……
