The band that drummer Mick Fleetwood and bassist John McVie started in 1967 has gone through more personnel changes and stylistic innovations than any other pop group in history. The story of the group really began in 1967, when John Mayall and Alexis Korner launched an incendiary brand of psychedelic British blues under the name of Fleetwood Mac.
