这就是理科生不学epistemology的下场，开篇看到作者的一些雷人逻辑心里就觉得不能有太高期待了。例如：《中阴经》记载中阴状态持续49天，人类受精卵到第49天开始能观察到性别分化。这些玩意儿放在一起暗示读者真是坏。精卵结合那一刻性别就确定了好么？这个和那个有个鬼的关系。还是医学院毕业的呢…这本书唯一有价值的地方就是看看这种研究怎么拿经费，怎么通过伦理审核，以及和psychosis对照起来研究的一些经验。

Open your mind and see it for yourself 单单是那些个志愿者留下的故事，每段都可当做有趣的小说来读。这不已经很好了吗？社会的接受程度一定是滞后的，不然「先知」根本就没有存在的意义。在向前走的过程中，我们需要更加开放的心，更加广阔的视野。其正如作者自己所批判，他的实验受限太多且需要保持一定客观性，实验室的环境恐怕也不是最好的服用DMT的地方。但作者可爱的一面是一来给出了坏体验的记录，反对者的声音，佛教徒的反对，还考虑了志愿者为了必须提供数据而不能单单「享受」或「体验」这个过程。这样的先驱者，我们又何必来挑他的毛病呢？少年们！努力挣钱！然后到亚马逊丛林去！我们一起干了这碗死藤水吧！另有趣的是作者最近的书并没有涉及佛学，而是回到了希伯来圣经神秘体验的描述。
