文笔优美结构精巧。有点像偷书贼，从虐心程度上来说也有得一比。几个配角都相当出彩，主角也很暖心。宝石一条线删掉就好了，有点俗套。没有这条线，只写普通人在战争中的遭遇，应该会更震撼。最难以接受的是结局，作者是个温柔的后妈。那个说毛子强奸全体孤儿院妇女离题万里的，书都没认真看是没有资格乱评论的好吗？一不是全体，二事情发生在柏林，没事多读读书增加点历史常识。
