The man who knew too much knew what is worth knowing. 我永遠都喜歡Horne Fisher！英國式的”多餘人”，真正的貴族。最後他沒有死在那座孤島上的神龕裏，也沒有穿著sackcloth默默地懺悔，他壯麗得像流星一般。也許這本書纔是Chesterton的代錶作，後三篇非常精彩，英國人的pride和血氣被他寫得淋灕盡緻。《斷劍》或是<Hole in the Wall> 精神續作。
