评分1,George爆Lennie頭,跟Candy後悔沒有親自結束自己養的老狗生命相呼應。2,Lennie這個大只佬,經常無意傷害他渴望的東西和人,但內心非常單純溫柔。這種'明明是有錯但恨不來卻反而同情'的效果,跟洛麗塔何其相似啊。

评分重读有不一样的感觉,似乎更感同身受了。所有失落的梦想,无望的生活,无法排解的孤独,还有对陪伴的渴望,诉说与被倾听的渴望——经过这一年的煎熬过后,再度读来,好像通通变得真实可感了。陪伴是重要的,说话是必要的,理解是次要的。 阅读中想起《心是孤独的猎手》。斯坦贝克同麦卡勒斯乃至海明威一样,倾向于通过描写动作和话语来暗示人物心理,而不是像福克纳那样直接描写人物心理。说着容易,做好却很难。但是,《人鼠》和《心》都做到了:分毫不输那边厢的意识流,不动声色同样可以产生灵魂的震颤。
