These seven modules on multi-grade teaching were designed as part of a wider partnership effort to assist countries to achieve quality universal primary education. The modules were developed by Commonwealth educators and tested in Tanzania. This is a really user friendly, very well laid out and easy to read and photocopy /scan set of resource materials, including lesson plans, techniques and guidance on multi-grade teaching to support multi-grade teaching for pre-service trainee teachers and for qualified or less qualified teachers, already teaching in schools, and who wish to upgrade their skills. It is written for self-study or for use as part of a teacher training programme. It is written in an interactive style using a number of techniques to help you participate fully in the learning exercises.
