夏洛特·佐罗托

1915年出生于美国维吉尼亚州，绘本作家、编辑、出版商和教育家。

桑达克于1964年以《野兽国》一书获凯迪克金奖；1970年获国际安徒生插画奖；为表彰他的整体创作，1983年美国图书馆协会颁发其罗兰·英格斯·怀尔德奖；1996年获美国国家荣誉艺术奖章；2003年荣获国际林格伦儿童文学奖。
