欧斯金·考德威尔，E.，Erskine Caldwell (1903~1987)，美国作家。生于美国佐治亚州亚特兰大以南一个山村里，父亲是长老会的牧师。他曾在大学肄业，后来在《亚特兰大日报》任记者。他的小说大半以美国南方贫苦的白人愚昧、落后、悲惨的生活以及黑人所受的种族迫害为内容，暴露较多，有时有一些自然主义的笔墨。著名的有《烟草路》(1932)、《上帝的小块土地》(1933)、《七月的风波》(1940)。其中《烟草路》被改编为戏剧，在百老汇上演，卖座多年不衰。他的其他较好的作品有《乔治亚小伙子》(1943)、《高地上的房子》(1946)，短篇小说集《跪在上升的太阳下》(1935)等。
