评分所谓的大城小事,对于旧金山来说,就是爱欲交织的小人物荒唐事,而且注定二逼并且基情四射。从一开始,作者就摆明了不会假装艰深,连人物名字都显得滑稽,而且角色的设定有村姑,有基友,有嬉皮士,有瘾君子,有社交名媛,也有企业大亨。最有趣的莫过于Anna Madrigal这样的博爱嬉皮房东了。故事兴许不登大雅之堂,有些章节还有些蠢,但在保守与开放的碰撞中记叙一代人的挣扎与追求。可能也是这种认真的调侃,让整体显得特别幽默轻松,实为卫生间读物之极品。
