和早期与Isherwood合写的The Mortmere Stories完全不同，这篇政治色彩浓厚。故事是看上去并没有值得一书的情节但读起来很流畅的散文小说，所以不难理解Stephen Spender政治理念和他完全不同却还是对文章本身大加赞扬。 Tutor并担心的事情并不会发生，Upward依然保持了并写出这样力量与美同在的文章……【为毛我买的封面不一样TAT……感觉纸也和之前买的Enitharmon的书不同
