评分This is a horrible, horrible children’s book, don’t read it unless you have prepared your heart to be torn apart alive, bit by bit... 這本書像什麼呢？像裹著一層棉花糖的鉛球，像是身體裏藏著針尖的洋娃娃；等吞下去以後纔覺得內髒要被它墜穿，等抱在懷裏以後纔發覺胸口已經被它刺到流血。作者的文字錶達能力在目前我看過的書中堪稱一絕，鮮有能匹者。但是這個故事實在太沉重、現實、讓人絕望；再加之書中滲透的濃厚維多利亞時代的道德說教和宗教理念，使我並不能心甘情願的給它五星。雖說作者啓發瞭一眾現代兒童奇幻故事小說傢，但是他的書我以後應該不會再碰瞭。
