作者簡介史蒂夫．卡瓦納Steve Cavanagh出生且成長於愛爾蘭貝爾法斯特，18歲時前往都柏林研讀法律。目前為民權法律師，曾參與多個眾所矚目的案件，如2010年，他代表飽受種族虐待之工廠員工，得到北愛爾蘭法律史上最高的種族歧視傷害賠償金。他擁有高階法庭辯護資格，教授多門法律主題課程（但他其實只是喜歡講笑話）。已婚，育有兩子。譯者簡介葉旻臻臺灣大學外國語文學系畢業。曾任職於紀錄片拍攝團隊、外文書店及出版社。總是渴望更貼近自己欣賞的故事，所以喜歡翻譯。
