貞本義行：日本著名的動畫製作人、漫畫傢。畢業後加入GAINAX發展。曾經擔任《不思議之海的娜丁亞》、《王立宇宙軍～奧米內菲斯之翼～》等名作的人物設計和作畫監督。之後擔任《新世紀福音戰士EVA》的人物設計極受好評，更因《EVA》的超人氣好評而倍受矚目。現專注於《新世紀福音戰士EVA》的漫畫連載。2006年07月15日，擔任《穿越時空的少女》劇場版動畫的人物設定，將日本著名的小說傢筒井康隆的同名小說——《穿越時空的少女》搬上銀幕，並受到一緻好評。2009年8月1日，擔任瞭《夏日大作戰》劇場版動畫的人物設定。
