Entertainment has been a big part of Lily Collins’s life since her childhood in England. Once she moved to Los Angeles, Lily attended the Youth Academy of Dramatic Arts and performed in numerous musical theater productions. In 2009, Lily made her film debut in the Academy Award-nominated film The Blind Side. Her other films include Mirror Mirror; The English Teacher; Stuck in Love; The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones; and Love, Rosie. She is starring in Warren Beatty’s upcoming film Rules Don’t Apply opposite Alec Baldwin, Annette Bening, and Matthew Broderick, among others, and will soon be seen in To the Bone, Okja, Halo of Stars (previously known as The Clown), and the TV series The Last Tycoon.

Lily also has a passion for journalism, which she discovered while working for Elle Girl UK. Later, she reported on the 2009 presidential inauguration for Nickelodeon, covered the Democratic and Republican national conventions for Seventeen magazine, and was a contributing editor for CosmoGirl and the Los Angeles Times Magazine.

Lily has always strived to empower young people to use their voices, starting in high school, where she trained to be a teen therapist. Within the last few years, she became an ambassador for the anti-bullying organization Bystander Revolution and has taken part in national WE Day events that encourage today’s youth to stand together and speak out. Unfiltered is Lily’s debut book.

读这本书纯属某影迷兴致勃勃买来之后束之高阁，又闲来无事，不如看看。文字简单，故事简单，谈不上文笔，就是写写自己，大概也因为年轻无甚可写，写写恋爱的委曲求全，写写因为畏惧别人眼光的自虐式“自律”，写写跟单亲妈妈跟从小离开自己的明星爸爸的关系……不精彩不曲折不猎奇但还蛮真诚，起码是某种程度内的真诚。（远好过希拉里的what happened的调性，看似诙谐，但基本都在抨击讽刺川普怎么能当总统不为民等等，也不知道这诙谐娱乐了谁）

很真诚的分享。比弗利山庄长大的星二代Lily也有普通少女的成长烦恼。厌食症，缺席的父亲，男友精神虐待，因为英国口音被嘲笑，习惯过度付出，对外表不自信。。。值得一提的是她在写自己学做饭那一节提到因为遇到一个她觉得会在一起很久甚至会结婚的男友，所以学些生活技巧，那年24岁，毫无疑问这个人是Jamie Campbell Bower.

比较平淡的叙述，言辞比较简单日常，像是朋友间叙述烦恼一样。

这种书拿来听是最合适的，妹子写的很真诚。中心思想还是那一套鸡汤，但是因为听起来像support group现场，所以特别能打动我。好了，大美人都觉得自己不完美，纠结外表和强烈讨大家喜欢的心结都经历了几百件事，我就听话照旧爱自己。想写点关于自己的东西来review下，提纲都帮忙列好了。ps 厨艺得学一下，还有最后一章凑数太适合写英文毕业录了。
