在Chapter 21 《The Attack》里有这么一句话： This is as dull as the doldrums. Gray, whistle for a wind. 翻译过来就是“闷得跟赤道无风带一样，Gray，吹个口哨来点风吧！”《庄子》说“大块噫气，其名为风”，产生的原理虽然一样，但吹口哨的人和大地相比，实在不...  

这是我看的第1本外国小说，初中和高中时一共看了3遍吧。 居然看到有人说荣如德翻译的不好，怪了？！本书翻译得相当出色，语感非常符合故事所处的年代。 这个版本的插图是原版的，非常精美，后来在市面上见到的译本中，大都没有插图，少数有很差的插图。 好在我有一本9品的用来...
