老婦聊發少女狂，退休老太太迴想起兒時當間諜的夢想就去CIA毛遂自薦，正好有份重要情報卡在墨西哥送不過來，專業特務去瞭就失蹤（有內鬼），就讓pollifax這種旅人（tuorist，millo那種）跑腿，結果可想而知的水越攪越渾，polliax慈祥的外錶和與年齡不相稱的機智讓她成為隻會死闆教條的特務裏不可或缺的一份子。缺點是很多情節不夠嚴肅，比起馬普爾更像白頭神探那種滑稽劇，優點是輕鬆好讀。
