比上一部長瞭好多，有點囉嗦，單詞量也大瞭些。劇情還可以，但是沒什麼特彆精彩的地方，有的細節還挺好玩的，8分吧。

The ending seems a little hasty. I'm quite doubtful about the final voyage with the sea snail (for one thing there is no toilet in there...) The old parrot is such a cunning creature! And the old question of poverty and development is hard to answer in a story like this.

全知全能的白人殖民主義者dolittle醫生收瞭人類助手，徵服瞭西班牙奔牛，當瞭土著的國王，最後乘坐蝸牛潛艇歡天喜地地迴到瞭氣候悲慘的英格蘭。書裏的白人優越感和自大狂熏得人不忍卒讀。
