As inspiration, every issue has interviewed a leading role model to generously pass on the benefits of their experience, reveal how they reached where they are today, and give suggestions for how CosmoGIRL! s can succeed now…and in the future. To celebrate the project’s fifth anniversary, the magazine has compiled these stirring profiles, which include such famous figures as Martha Stewart, journalists Christiane Amanpour and Barbara Walters, playwright Eve Ensler, lawyer Gloria Allred, music magnate Russell Simmons, MTV president Christina Norman, and TV/film producer Jerry Bruckheimer. In addition, fill-in “power journal” sections allow readers to personalize the book and put into practice the tips shared by these icons of success so that girls can use them to get where they want to be today and in the year 2024.
