听了3个月有声书，到最后听到汉米尔顿死去噩耗在城里传开、全纽约商铺自发停止营业的时候，几乎热泪盈眶。汉米尔顿这个骄傲又脆弱的天才是叱咤沙场的将军，也是令人倾倒的恋人和父亲，铸就了美国的金融体系，也建立起纽约最早的孤儿院。他是异乡客也是纽约人。Chernow对他笔下的汉米尔顿崇敬至深，有时候溢美之词过度了，对汉米尔顿和他对手的描述也不够客观。不过这种敬爱之情我是十分能理解的。。。
