布魯斯•布魯剋斯

（Bruce Brooks）

成長於美國東海岸，畢業於北加利福尼亞大學，深造於衣阿華作傢夢工廠，曆任印刷工、報紙及雜誌記者、教師。布魯斯是天生的作傢，他從十歲時開始寫小說。其處女作《籃球少年》於1985年榮獲“《波士頓環球時報》傑齣圖書”大奬以及1985年紐伯瑞兒童文學銀奬。其著作《無處不在》榮獲1990年“金風箏”大奬榮譽小說。

布魯斯著作頗豐，其作品《嚴肅點兒》和《夜半錶演》皆為美國圖書館協會以及校園圖書館雜誌最佳暢銷書。
