第一印象就是黄中宪的翻译看着舒服，（现在能让人看着舒服的中译本真的不敢奢求，世界史译本不忍卒读者众，导致要求越来越低，只求说人话，错别太多，前后译名至少一致吧诶ಠ_ರೃ）原本是拿来当睡前读物，但整个阅读过程兴奋愉悦，文字所营造的画面感很强，读到最后几章...

Absolutely stunning Book!!! Mr.King is a true scholar and a great story teller who makes this Renaissance story not boring or hard to read at all, I enjoyed it very much. There are lots of events and people involved in Michelangelo's greatest project. King knows these details and information so well just like he was there, with Michelangelo all the time! The story gets more interesting when Raphael appeared, at that time he was working on pope's private room. (I love Michelangelo's iconic nude human body!!!)
