其实如果做了足够多的research就可以发现里面短短一句话都好有含义……但这种分年代的挨个介绍方式真的读起来太累了……

对我这种看大砖头历史书老犯怵的人来说，学历史的一个轻松点的办法一个是读传记，一个是读艺术史，尤其是这种有无数彩图插页的艺术史书。以前去博物馆碰到拜占庭这部分总是大步流星穿堂而过，这本书读完感觉对这个时期的艺术看出点道道了。文字流畅插图精美，非常适合入门者，Phaidon这一个系列的断代艺术史丛书可以看出做得很用心。
