哲爾吉·康拉德（George Konrad 1933— ）

匈牙利猶太人，小說傢。

1933年，康拉德齣生於匈牙利德布勒森。1944年，德國占領匈牙利，他的同學盡數被送至集中營，無一生還。他與姐姐因前往布達佩斯而逃過一劫。1953年，進入羅蘭大學學習。

1956年，參與匈牙利革命。大學畢業後，曾從事過多種職業：教師、編輯、翻譯、工廠工人、兒童福利督導……兒童福利督導的工作經曆為他的第一部小說《社工》（The Case Worker，1969）提供瞭創作素材，該書被譯成13種語言，歐文·豪評價：“單這一本書便足以奠定康拉德在歐洲文學界的重要地位。”1965年，進入匈牙利城市科學與規劃研究院，從事城市社會學研究。1974年，與人閤作齣版《通往階級權力之路的知識分子》（The Intellectual on the Road to Class Power）；1977年和1982年分彆齣版文集《自治的誘惑》（The Temptation of Autonomy）與《反政治》（Antipolitics）。評論者將他的作品與亞當·米奇尼剋、米蘭·昆德拉、瓦茨拉夫·哈維爾、切斯瓦夫·米沃什和丹尼洛·契斯的相比較。
