珍．莫里斯（Jan Morris）

珍．莫里斯出生於英國威爾斯。她在一九七二年未進行變性手術以前，身分是詹姆斯．莫里斯（James Morris）。

曾擔任《泰晤士報》與《衛報》記者，並以參與過一九五三年的聖母峰探險而聞名。在《衛報》工作了一段時間之後，她便專事寫作。
