理查德·道金斯（Richard Dawkins，1941—　）

英国皇家科学院院士，牛津大学首席西蒙尼“公众理解科学教授”，进化论生物学家。他是英国著名科学作家，几乎每本书都是畅销书，并经常在各大媒体引起轰动。2005年，英国《前景》杂志会同美国《外交政策》杂志评选出在世的全球100名最有影响力的公共知识分子，道金斯赫然在列。

此书以人类在系统发育树上的位置为基准，按照与人类有最近共同祖先的类群的远近顺序来描述每一个类群，前言部分全是在解释为什么这样分，但我觉得有点罗嗦了，直接进入主题，当看到真螈类在加利福尼亚的分布图时，我确信，作为科普读物，这本书非常专业！

原作其实之前已经看过了，但是是扫描 + OCR 然后一些图片也被吞了。在图书馆看到有中文翻译版 (虽然早就有了。。。) 还是去看了一遍。翻译基本上不算差，但是各种界门纲目科属种不分我实在不能容忍了。就像 Concestor 5 (好像是吧) 的所有后代是 Catarrhine (作为分类单位...
