第一推动系列几乎都是精品，至于这本书的缺点，和其他的差不多，行文不够工整，叙事结构也不够合理。但科普书重点是介绍知识和科学故事，有点趣味性都是福利了。翻译不够严谨，但已经足够了，而且能翻译科普书籍的人，尤其是理论物理等高难科普，已经很好的。
