曾千慧，福建厦门人，自小生活在被白海豚包围的岛屿上。于中国海洋大学获学士学位，于国家海洋局第三海洋研究所获硕士学位，其间研究大洋与南北极深海底栖动物，现为山东大学与国家海洋局第三海洋研究所联合培养的博士生，主攻海洋哺乳动物保育方向。曾审校《无尽深蓝》等书。目前是知乎海洋生物领域的优秀回答者（喵鱼酱），著有专栏《海错生灵》。曾多次前往南极，担任游轮探险队员，考察海洋哺乳动物。
