喷气式发动机的经典教科书，被美国各大学采用，包括MIT。重在理论，各种理论虽然在我看来解释的不算太透彻，但是非常全面。作者撰写本书时十分严谨，整本书只有一处错误。至于可读性，可以用糟糕来形容。充满各种专业术语，十分晦涩，英文能力欠佳者或者没有工科背景的人阅读起来可能会极其费劲，不过对于有志于航空发动机研究的人来说，值得一读。另：售价高达150美金，但是上课教科书，迫于无奈，割肉买了一本，不过装订和纸质真是没的说。现在被当成圣经一样供着···
