马尔巴·塔罕（Malba Tahan），本名Júlio César de Mello e Souza（1895—1974），已故巴西数学教授、作家。童年时受到《天方夜谭》的启蒙后，疯狂爱上阿拉伯文化，以阿拉伯笔名马尔巴·塔罕自称，并用笔名发表著作超过五十本，获巴西总统亲自批准将笔名印在身份证上。其作品融合数字与文字间的奥妙及趣味，借由“娱乐教授法”数学作品闻名于世，著有69本故事书、51本数学与其他主题书，及至1995年已销售超过两百万本。作者因其著作成就荣获巴西文学院大奖，他的生日也被立为巴西数学日，是巴西唯一和足球员同样有名的数学老师。
