HH系列在这一作中多少暴露了一些问题：首先，Garro的历程实在是太像Loken了，忠诚派是否都会落入这样的套路？其次，帝拳原体、寂静修女甚至是禁军的出现确实振奋人心，但Dorn从愤怒到平息再到痛苦接受，总觉得缺乏说服力。波澜壮阔的战场与平缓的对话描写穿插在一起，除去潜在漏洞不谈，单看写作技法在目前读到的黑图书馆HH小说里可以说是最好的。
