Like Douglass, Harriet Jacobs was born into slavery, and in 1861 she published Incidents in the Life of a Slave Girl, now recognized as the most comprehensive antebellum slave narrative written by a woman. 看完這書纔對黑奴的睏境有所感受 本想讀sparknote 就算瞭 但認真讀完 有瞭看日本侵略中國的那種氣憤 憑什麼都是人卻 奪取 他人的權利 憑什麼視他人為 動物都不如 的活動機器 非常佩服Douglass的勇氣，勇敢，智慧，計謀，和性格 是他，幸運的逃齣南方，成為瞭一個有知識的人， 告訴後人黑奴的不人道和血腥的那一麵 他是一個非常謙虛的人，自學成纔（和靠街上的窮孩子的幫助） 寫的真實，樸素，用個人最震撼人心的經曆告訴世人那曾不為人知的人間地獄
