译者在书的最后也承认了翻译中的诸多不可译性以及自身水平的局限，此书在翻译上确实有较多的缺陷，加之此书本身就有些晦涩难懂，翻译不尽如人意也是在所难免。但是，该书还是给读者呈现人类学大体的理论及其发展实践的脉络，有利于读者从宏观上把握人类学历史发展的总体情况。 ...
