A Mother's Thoughts in Verse is poetry of a wide variety of topics. First you may read verses about family or friends, secular and spiritual ones. Some of the poems are humorous, while others are thought provoking and serious. In the poem "Devyn" it tells of a love between a grandson and his Granny. In "Bye O" it's a lullaby to sing to a baby. "The Only One" reveals a lonely person with no one to tell his problems to and his search for fame until he is introduced to "The Only One." "Children" reveals what they do and bring into our lives every day. "Hair" tells all the many things we do with our hair to make us happy. "Old Age" is a humorous look at all that can happen to us as we get older. "God's Love" shows he cares and loves all, while "Heaven" reveals a place God has prepared for everyone.
