這個係列的第三本看完瞭，心裏仍然覺得這是一個不像前兩個一樣那麼精彩的故事。一切都變得那麼暗沉，甚至平淡：Sparrowhawk如得道高僧一般，心理裝著的智慧甚至都沒有其他人能理解，然而人們又都願意相信他做的是對的事情。Arren則像一個stereotypical的“英雄”，有後颱有高貴...
