羅絲·特裏梅因 （Rose Tremain）

1943年齣生於倫敦。荷蘭葛洛寜恩大學英語語言與文化碩士，現於英國東安格利亞大學教授創意寫作。

少年時期即開始創作，33歲時齣版第一本小說，從此筆耕不輟。作品獲奬眾多，包括惠特布萊德奬年度好書、英國布萊剋小說紀念奬、法國費米娜外國小說奬、狄蘭·托馬斯文學奬、《周日快報》年度選書等。

2008年憑藉《迴傢的路》獲英國橘子奬，奠定瞭她在世界文壇的知名度及影響力。擔任過兩屆布剋奬

Newlyweds Joseph and Harriet Blackstone emigrate from England to New Zealand, along with Joseph's mother Lilian, in search of new beginnings and prosperity. But the harsh land near Christchurch where they settle threatens to destroy them almost before they begin. When Joseph finds gold in a creek bed, he hides the discovery from both his wife and mother, and becomes obsessed with the riches awaiting him deep in the earth.
