以前觉得作者是Ronit，从正统犹太社区离开去纽约，写小说时还是一个虔诚犹太人，写完后却不是了。后来看她采访里谈到她以前爱上一个不爱她的人，然后她于我成了Ronit、Esti、Dovid三个人，也许是这样的经历才把他/她们气愤、暗恋、软弱的状态描写得那么刻苦铭心吧。电影的改编很不同，但看完电影我觉得我原谅这本书了。

三星半。想要探讨的主题非常棒，无奈人物十分扁平，比起小说更像是作者为了主题强行编出来的事实论据。

"being gay and being Jewish have a lot in common" Uluru之行的读物说实话有点失望作者的语言功底不错但叙事实在太松散大段大段宗教背景的描述和感悟前面看着挺新颖的看多了就觉得是堆砌女主买验孕棒都能写个十几面你们感受一下可惜了好题材和好故事电影改得还是不错的~
