She talked about race in a way that is easy to understand

3-/5 Oluo covers many intriguing, if not well-researched, racial issues but her attempt to bridge gaps quickly turns sour as her writing becomes increasingly divisive, militarised and at times self-contradictory. She grants all POC an immunity pass while, perhaps subconsciously, invalidating all feelings of white people, which only seems naive.

誠然systemic racism是根源，作者並沒有提齣什麼新的觀點，比如Asian American那章就比較令人失望，講得太淺。關於N word的那節，作者關於童年往事的迴憶令人無法完全信服。總之，此書讀起來總有種作者在shouting to your face的感覺。
