这就是我的故事。前半段阅读被和好又疏离的互相虐待迷住，似乎对应着我自己对承诺的畏惧和在感情中的虚无。睡一觉起来感受又不同了，后半段更关注他们是如何去be normal，什么是正常的爱（友情、爱情和家庭）呢? sally rooney 火起来不是没有道理，终于有人来讲我们的生活了。喜欢她非线性的讲述方式，也很喜欢结尾，在两个人的人生刚刚开始的时候结局，他们注定又要分别再相聚，如此重复下去还有关于她Marxism.的立场也引来挺多关注的

大概是爱尔兰文青版《我可能不会爱你》。这种相互塑造、相互拯救、一起寻找自我、充满张力和脆弱的亲密关系，18岁的时候经历了，此后再难以超越；18岁时没有得到过，就永远都在向往。我真是很喜欢萨莉鲁尼了，词语的选择很妙，有种冷淡的机敏。还去看了纽约客上她的访谈，批评者说她的书是穿着当代服饰的19世纪小说，哈哈，怪不得我这么喜欢。

表面上看，这是关于一对年轻人经历爱情的书。它有关青春，有关爱。但我并不觉得这是爱情小说，更无关于青春忧伤和疼痛。作者笔下的这两个人物向我们展现的是人与人之间那种深奥且一言难尽的复杂关系。这份复杂并不来自爱情本身，而在于人本身的复杂性，尤在年轻的时候，并不懂得自己到底是谁，和世界的关系又怎样。对自己的和对生活的迷惘通常体现在和他人的交往过程中，形成映射：比如在关系里谁更有操纵权，爱与伤害的关系，来自所谓不同阶级的认知矛盾，各自的心理挣扎与梦想。与网络上的爱情“简单化”的鼓励相比，Rooney的故事更真实地照出人们真正的样子。她最厉害的地方就是用这么清晰直白的叙述方式，展露出如此微妙复杂的人类情感关系。爱情，人性，人生的答案到底是怎样，作者要我们自行体会。在此书看到自己的影子的话，感觉并不轻松。
