读后感

菲利普罗斯的美国三部曲花了三个星期的时间读完，平均下来也就是一个星期一本的样子。对我而言可以算是一个较快的阅读速度了。三本书的阅读顺序分别是《美国牧歌》、《我嫁给了共产党人》以及《人性的污秽》。 美国小说家似乎都有股乡土情结而且都很有野心都想写...

Densely writing, very diffcult to read.

i tried, to read the novel, to empathize and to like it. i did try, only in vain. on some point, it is not me that determines my reading taste, but my nature and soul, the one longing for confessional illustration of humanity, the very exact opposite to the way Philip Roth weaved. 2011-10-13 Jane
