Michael Slade is the pseudonym of Jay and Rebecca Clarke. Jay Clarke is a Vancouver-based trial lawyer specializing in cases involving the criminally insane. Rebecca Clarke, trained in English literature and history at the University of British Columbia, is Jay Clarke's daughter. Both reside in Vancouver.
