好友花重金买票请我去国家大剧院去看铃木忠志执导的《李尔王》，我不能辜负他的心意，所以临急抱佛脚买了原著来读。上次读莎士比亚还是在英国读GCSE时。当时读的好痛苦，这次却非常顺利，遇到原文翘脚处都是见招拆招，我好欣慰我的英语进步了那么多???? 莎士比亚的戏剧一般会由多组人物组成，这是为了方便场景切换 - 是一个实用性的需求，但此剧的副人物却延伸成一条独立故事线（Gloucester和他两个儿子Edgar、Edmund），其中Edmund更是全剧里最触目的角色 - 他第二场开幕的独白描述了陷害兄长的计谋，邪恶却又充满个人魅力。剧中关于“孝道”的探讨很有趣，也很接近中国人的传统思想，期待一位厉害的中国导演针对这题材来改编此剧！
