Like a ship captain's logbook, Log records observations of one's surroundings, in particular of movements in architecture and contemporary culture. Log fills the void in American architectural publishing that has existed since the closing of ANY and the journal Assemblage by providing a venue for criticism and a discussion of contemporary work and ideas.
