慢动作吓人。如果耐得住性子，到12章开始，剧情就精彩了。前提是再能记住前面发生的事，联系一下。直接就不睡了。总之我是通宵看完的。但是真没有特别慎。就三星级吧。不过我反复回想以后，决定给最后三章四星。英伦式惊悚，连吓人都要累积起来闷骚地到最后才爆发。综上，这是3星半。

半个月的读程每天沉浸在阴冷又让人兴奋的氛围里。中间部分真让我晚上不敢看。虽然不是靠悬疑逻辑取胜，但我更爱它多面的解读。我偏爱的人物形象部分塑造得也很成功。法拉第医生不是一个可信和可爱的人，他在接近房子和爱上卡罗琳的过程中，不自觉地掂量算计。开放式的结尾我很喜欢。
