第一次看到Gil Elvgren的畫的時候應該是2000年之前的事情了，那時候在一本介紹幻想風畫作的書裡面看到他的畫，未滿十歲的我精神為之一振，書都快翻爛了，然後前幾年，突地去了解清楚Gil Elvgren，蒐集了很多他的畫，弄了個相冊在豆瓣，可是一直覺得“唔夠候”，直到今年生日給自己買了這本書做禮物，其實本來是想買Gil Elvgren的美女挂曆的，可是找到這本畫冊毫無猶豫地買下來了，果然沒有後悔，太棒了，裡面的畫作也非常多，分時期展示，心神為之一振，彷彿又讓我回到十多年前把Gil Elvgren的畫翻爛了的時候。
